Saiber LLC Expands Business Services And Employment Practices
Longtime NJBIA member Saiber LLC on Tuesday announced the addition of Marc D. Freedman as member and Steven M. Friedland as counsel in a move that strengthens the Florham Park law office’s Business Services and Employment practices.
This strategic growth reflects Saiber’s dedication to enhancing its corporate and M&An abilities, with a particular focus on industry-specific options for customers in the staffing sector and beyond.
Both attorneys sign up with Saiber from the boutique firm Freedman & Friedland LLC of Hasbrouck Heights, bringing decades of experience in business and law, especially within the staffing industry.
Freedman, an experienced business lawyer, signs up with the company’s Business Services group as a member. With an extensive background in employment and corporate law and mergers & acquisitions, he brings deep understanding of the legal and company concerns affecting staffing business and other markets.
He formerly served as general counsel and senior executive officer for among the largest public business in the short-lived work sector. His extensive experience consists of corporate acquisitions, securities compliance, labor relations, defending companies in discrimination matters and class actions, limiting covenant litigation, threat management, and tactical consulting for senior executives.
Freedman is presently general counsel to the New Jersey Staffing Alliance and formerly served in similar functions with nationwide staffing associations.
Friedland will join the firm as counsel in the Litigation practice group. With a focus on employment law and litigation, he brings over 2 decades of experience safeguarding employers in discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour matters before federal and state courts and administrative companies, in addition to representing companies in business lawsuits.
He likewise frequently counsels clients on day-to-day work environment matters and drafts numerous contracts, policies, and compliance products. Previously, Friedland practiced work and labor law at two firms with a nationwide existence.
